Mushroom curry- Kerala style

This is a mushroom dish prepared in kerala style using coconut. This requires very less ingredients and is easy to cook.

Ingredients

Mushroom -  1 1/2 cup
shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
chilly powder - 1/2 table spoon
coriander powder - 1/4 table spoon
turmeric powder - 1/4 spoon
salt - to taste
small onion - 2 small to grind with coconut
                  - 1/2 cup finely chopped to cook with mushroom
green chilly - 2 (cut into two halves)
Oil - 1 table spon
mustard - 1/2 spoon
curry leaves - required quantity

Preparation

Clean the mushrooms very well and cut into small pieces.
Add the cut green chillies and small onions into the mushroom and add the turmeric powder and adequate amount of salt and keep it aside. Grind the shredded coconut with chilly powder,small onion and coriander powder with a small quantity of water. Add this grinded coconut gravy to the vessel where mushroom is kept and cook it for alsmost 15 minutes or till the mushroom is cooked well. Finally after cooking heat the oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When mustard breaks fully , add this to the mushroom curry. Tasy mushroom curry is ready.
